Hi everyone! Summer is finally here~ I hope everyone is enjoying it so far!
Quick summary for people who are new here. We have a Weekly Progress report in the secret lab section of our forum. The monthly reports will be a summary of those weekly reports, excluding the exclusive stuffs.
Game Status
July was all about design work. We took a break from the battle system and focused on other screens in the game. We also spent time working on enemy designs.
Main Menu Interface
We came up with many skins for the main menu interface. From the secret lab members, the following skin was the most popular one so we'll go with this one for now:
Here are some samples of other designs:
While it's possible to let the user choose the skin they want, we'll stick with just one for now.
Map Design
We've refined the map from the sketch. Now the city is surrounded by mountains. I think we're going to change that pool into a natural river instead.
Also, we will make the castle looks less sophisticated. At this rate it looks like all the kindgom's money goes to the palace and the coliseum!
Main Menu Icon Design
Like the main menu interface, we have came up with many designs for the icons. In the end, we decided to go with something like this:
Here's an example of the other designs we came up with:
Enemy Design
The gladiators at the coliseum aren't your only opponents. You may get to fight mystical creatures while exploring a dungeon. Unlike kemono/furry characters, this type of enemy cannot be stripped. We haven't thought of any erotic scenes with them yet. We might do that in the future, since there are people mentioning this during the discussion in the secret lab.

Fan Arts
We started getting some fan arts last month! Here are the ones I've found:
Volga looks really cute!
Artist : 五色
Seems like people like Volga more when his armors are broken!
Artist : Maxx
Thank you to all the artists who have drawn fan arts of Kemo Coliseum! Volga seems to be really popular. It probably has to do with him being the only one who appears in the demo :P
Regarding Making Money from Kemo Coliseum Fan Work
We got a question from an artist about Kemo Coliseum's fan work. The question was whether it's possible to make money from a fan work of Kemo Coliseum. I think it's a good question so might as well putting the answer here.
Short answer : YES!
Long answer : Please, go ahead and do it! After all, the whole point of Kemo Coliseum is for everyone to be able to enjoy. Giving us a credit, or linking back to dudedlestudio.com would be enough. This is so that people who find your fan work will know where they can learn more about the original game :-)

While the artist who question this said that he plans to donate some of the revenue to us, I just want to make it clear that this is not an obligation.
If you want to donate some of the revenue with us, please get in touch so we could show that we endorse your work. We will also help promote it!
