Kemo Coliseum Monthly Progress : February 2013





It's time for Kemo Coliseum February 2013 Report!

Quick summary for people who are new here. We have a Weekly Progress report in the secret lab section of our forum. The monthly reports will be a summary of those weekly reports, excluding the exclusive stuffs.

Game Status

Programming

Still working on Touch and Tease 3 mostly this month. We finished 'localization system', which let the users to translate the game easily. This will be used in Kemo Coliseum as well.

The new localization system is based on how iOS work. For each script file, you can write a dictionary file that match a word/sentence with another language. For example:

Original File : prologue.txt
English Translation :   en/prologue.Strings
French Translation :    fr/prologue.Strings
Korean Translation :    kr/prologue.Strings

And the content inside, let's say en/prologue.Strings, is something like this

- original: おはようー
  translation: Morning~

- original: じゃ、またね!
  translation: See you later!

Erotic CG

We got in touch with Null Ghost and asked him to draw more variations of each erotic CGs (changing head/facial expression etc.) Thanks to all the donators that make this possible! :)

Map Sketch


We finished a color sketch for our map design! This is still not final and we have modified some of the mistake already.

Dungeons that are currently available will be in a list. Some dungeons only available while you're taking a certain quest.

Inside the dungeon. Some map would be randomly generated. The square could represent many things ranging from random event to enemies to treasure.


Public Demo Release Date


As we wrote on our tumblr, we have decided to participate in Kemoket, a furry comic event in Japan.

The event is on the 4th of May. We'll be selling an original doujinshi by Kurono Rokurou, as well as selling a limited edition of Kemo Coliseum public demo CD for fundraising. 

The game will still be free, and the demo will be available for free online sometime after the event. All donators, however, will receive the link to the demo on the same day this is released in Japan.

I think it's best to set a goal so that we'll be motivated. We have already paid for the booth, so we will do our best to release the public demo!
